Acne and scars

Acne is a common disease of adolescence, although it can sometimes occur in adulthood, and is characterized by inflammation of the sebaceous glands with the appearance of a multiform rash (papules, pimples, cysts, nodules).

Many Lasers have been used to treat acne, such as Diode, Pulsed Dye, Fractional, KTP, InfraRed, Potassium Titanyl Phosphate, Nd: YAG (which we have), IPL, Glass and Pulsed Light, and are mainly effective against inflammatory acne. Because they act on the bacteria that cause this damage.

Their results are immediate and we can see an improvement of up to 80%, but many times we need to maintain the result either with additional sessions or by combining them with local treatments.

LED Light Therapy and Acne

Blue LED light kills bacteria that causes acne and produces immediate results, often after only one session. It is a painless procedure that improves the clinical image of acne and protects against future breakouts without causing any skin irritations.

Laser and acne scars

As regards acne scars, ablative fractional lasers are mainly used with repetitive treatment sessions being required. They have exceptional results in the treatment of acne scars and the person is no longer required to stay indoors for a long period of time as was the case in the past.
